We get it—you’re busy rehearsing, performing, and making people laugh and cheer. Here’s everything you need to know to make your portrait session at The Lincoln Lodge smooth, stress-free, and seriously fun.
Q: How do I book a session?
A: You can reserve your portrait session online through our booking page. Spots are limited and tend to fill faster than a front-row seat on showcase night—so don’t wait!
Q: Can I walk in and book a session the day of?
A: Walk-ins won’t be available, but online booking stays open until the day of the shoot or until all slots are filled. Booking early gives you the best shot at your ideal time.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
A: You can cancel for a full refund or reschedule (pending availability) up to 72 hours in advance. After that, sessions are non-refundable—but you’re welcome to transfer your slot to another performer if something comes up.
Q: Where will the sessions take place?
A: All portraits will be taken at The Lincoln Lodge (2040 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago).
Q: When should I arrive?
A: Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in, freshen up, and get settled. This helps us keep the day running on schedule and gives you a moment to shake off any nerves.
Q: What styles of portraits can I choose from?
A: Whatever feels most you. From clean, classic headshots to expressive, theatrical portraits, each session is customized to capture your unique energy—whether it’s bold, moody, playful, or fierce.
Q: Can I bring props or costume pieces?
A: 100% yes. Wigs, fans, boas, mic stands, clown noses—whatever helps tell your story is encouraged. Longer sessions are ideal if you plan to bring props or change looks.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear something that reflects your stage persona or personal brand. Solid colors, fun textures, and layers work great. Avoid overly busy patterns, and feel free to bring a second look if you’ve booked The Quick Change or The Headliner.
Q: How do I choose my final images?
A: After your session, you’ll receive a private proof gallery to select your favorites. Once you’ve made your choices, I’ll deliver professionally retouched images straight to your inbox.
Q: When will I get my final photos?
A: You’ll receive your proof gallery within 5 business days. Final retouched images are typically delivered 7–10 days after you’ve made your selections.
Q: How can I use my photos?
A: Your session includes a non-commercial print release—perfect for websites, show posters, submissions, social media, and any self-promo magic you’re working on.
Q: Can I purchase extra images?
A: Totally! Additional retouched images are $45 each, and you can add more after you receive your proof gallery.
