Dead & Company in Chicago


Dead & Company, a band comprised of former Grateful Dead members, closed their 2017 tour at Wrigley Field in Chicago on June 30th and July 1st and Trainman Photography took to the street to chat with a few brave fans.

“Chicago loves The Dead, so being in Chicago and being at The Dead is like a double whammy, you know?" -Amy

“I've never been to a baseball game [at Wrigley Field]. Although I was asked to be bat boy for the White Sox a long time ago but I turned it down.” - David

“... even when Jerry died in 1995, my dad died the same age as him. He was 53. 1995 they both died. A month apart.” -Tammy

“It's about the music, the people, the experience, Chicago.” - Shelly

“Being at Wrigley, cause I'm a Cubs fan. And I was here when they won The Series.” -Sherry

“As they're nearing the end of the tour I'm excited to see what different songs they're going to pull out and how they're gonna end the tour.” -Wendy
